Rheumatology is a highly specialized area of Medicine that deals with Arthritis, Diseases of the Joints and Systemic Diseases such as Lupus. Physicians trained in Rheumatology have received advanced training in these areas and are able to provide services that allow patients with Rheumatic diseases to maintain their function, mobility, and control their pain. There are very few Board Certified Rheumatology specialists in the United States and we are fortunate to have two highly trained and fully Board Certified providers at the LaFayette Clinic.
